“Radiance,” commissioned by the NoDa Neighborhood and Business organization, NoDa, Charlotte, NC. October 2024. 65.5' x 6'
If you spread sunshine, and stop to appreciate the breeze, soon you'll see the butterflies and flowers abound!
"Song of the Garden." Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte NC. Exterior Mural. May 2024. 14' x 10'
This playful mural speaks to life, growth, and joy - holding within it the countless smiles of the healthcare workers who contributed and take their breaks by it every day.
“In the Moment,” Picnic Table commissioned by the NoDa Neighborhood and Business organization, Charlotte, NC. November 2024. 8’
A tribute to the flow of life: dancing, reaching out for help, growing into butterflies from our cocoons, and allowing ourselves to be small enough to see the grand beauty around us. When we can recognize the chorus of our memories, mistakes, strengths, and dreams singing with overlapping harmonies, we will appreciate the melodies of the everyday.
This piece also honors my Argentine culture through the Tango dancers!
"Worth,” Novant Health Rowan Medical Center, Salisbury, NC. Exterior Mural. December 2021. 26’ x 12.5'
My mural depicts contrasting stages of life. I hope to inspire people to ponder what they value, and remind them to find wonder and beauty in their internal and external worlds. Beauty is not reserved for the young, nor is wisdom reserved for the old. We must peel away our preconceptions of people, and see their inherent worth!
“Whimsy,” Picnic Table commissioned by the NoDa Neighborhood and Business organization, Charlotte, NC. November 2024. 8’
"Inherent Dignity," ASC Banner for Gun Violence Prevention, Charlotte, NC. June 2024. 8' x 4'
Dignity is not something to be earned. It is always there, invisible and irrevocable. But to illustrate some reasons to respect human life, I have highlighted the pointless and vicious cycle of violence, the beauty of each person's story and potential, and the reality of society's interconnectedness.
"To Hope is to Heal," Novant Health Forsyth Medical center, Winston-Salem Exterior Mural. November 2022. 33' x 10'
The hand, though bandaged, has found a way to be elevated - to heal. The whimsical butterflies surrounding the hand are representations of hope, rebirth, and growth. They have grown from caterpillars to creatures who take flight amid darkness and light, bringing wonder to those around them. In the same way, we hold the potential to emerge from a dark place!
"There's Always a Light," Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, Exterior Mural. December 2022. 9' Diameter
This mural illustrates the beauty of reaching for something greater. Located by the beaches of Wilmington, it nods to the seaside. Historically, Doctors would prescribe the sea air as a cure for various ailments of the body and mind, and its symbolism of healing still lives on.
The lighthouse is a guild for sailors to find their way back home, back to safety. It paints across the sky an uplifting banner of hope and healing!
"Wonder!" !con installation for Charlotte SHOUT! February 2023. 62" x 18.6" x 12."
If we allow our minds a chance to be whimsical, embracing child-like curiosity, we paint ourselves a world of wonder! Suddenly, the clouds in the sunset sky may just turn into a banner, pulling you into the warmth. Your favorite song explodes in glorious strands of color and light! If we don’t take ourselves too seriously, there’s an endless supply of gratitude, enthusiasm, and wonder to be found.
"What Sparks Joy?" Camp Greene traffic Signal Wrap at Ashley Rd & Allegheny Rd, Charlotte. April 2023. 52” x 34” x 26”
I had the privilege of working with a class of school children on this project! I asked them what they look forward to in a day, and for things that spark joy. In their answers, imagination had free reign! This flurry of ideas gave birth to one of the most whimsical artworks I've made.
They advocated for local flora and fauna, like cherry blossoms and foxes. Even the fairies' dresses are inspired by flowers you'd find by the roadside. Tying it all together was an exciting challenge. From pickles to jellyfish to flower crowns, things that are seemingly disconnected find their place here!
"Out of the Shadows," Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, Charlotte, Exterior Mural. March 2022. 17' x 7.'
I hope this mural can help shine a light on human suffering, inspiring the viewer to seek or offer connection. It is illustrates the possibility of escaping the confinement of despair. The helping hand represents the hope and help that can pull a victim from the shadows.
“Seen,” Vinyl Sign at the Hurt Hub at Davidson College, Davidson, NC. November 2023. 5’ x 6’
"To the world, you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world," - Dr. Seuss. When that is the case, you could spot that person you love in a crowd of thousands. Not only do you find their face, you can see their soul.
Over time, I've learned that allowing yourself to be truly known is to allow someone the chance to fully love you. So I challenge you to be open today!
